Long Term Care and Senior Living Management

An overview of the functional organizational structures common to long term care facilities. Includes an examination of the role of the administrator in the organization and management of long term care facilities. Additionally, a focus will be placed on techniques that will aid in creating a safe and healthy senior living environment.  Apply principles of leadership and management to long term care facilities; develop an organizational structure for a long term care facility; apply communication principles in the long term care facility; and articulate the requirements for continued professional development. Additionally, learners will demonstrate techniques that aid in creating a safe and healthy senior living environment.
