Stan Forney, MS, Associate Faculty

Prof Forney is a 28 year veteran of the Dallas Police Department where he is currently assigned to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Cyber Task Force. His experience while serving in law enforcement has exposed him to many areas of policing. Stanley’s knowledge and passion for computer technology and criminal justice have transitioned his career into a cybercrime investigator. He is the first law enforcement officer in the country to attend the National Cyber Investigative Joint Task Force (NCIJTF), Fellowship. He has been certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) as a Master Peace Officer, Cybercrime Investigator and an Instructor. He is frequently asked to train and lecture the  law enforcement community on cybercrime investigative techniques locally, statewide, and nationally. He has a vast knowledge of the complex social issues that continue to challenge law enforcement and the relationship with the public.
