Dual/Concurrent Program information for Leadership Prep Students
Program Details
Leadership Prep students will work with their high school counselor and their Collin
College Contacts to enroll at Collin College.
Students and parents can review the courses available for dual credit to Leadership
Prep students under "Dual Credit Offerings".
Students will take dual credit courses at Leadership Prep, the Collin College Frisco
Campus, or online (as approved by Leadership Prep)
Important Dates
Fall 2024
> Semester Dates: August 26, 2024 - December 15, 2024*
> Early Registration and Payment Deadline: July 31, 2024 at 7 PM
After the Fall term Early Registration payment deadline date, payment must be made at the time of course registration to ensure course enrollment status, regardless of the start date of the course. An outstanding balance on a student account will result in registration and transcript holds on the account, and the registration status may also be changed.
> Hard Stop Registration Deadline: August 29, 2024* ($100 late fee once courses begin)
> Census Date (Last day to drop): September 9, 2024*
> Withdraw Deadline: November 1, 2024*

Spring 2025
> Semester Dates: January 21, 2025 - May 18, 2025*
> Early Registration and Payment Deadline: December 4, 2024 at 7 PM

Dual/Concurrent Credit Enrollment
- High School Approval
You will need to meet with your high school counselor to discuss dual or concurrent opportunities prior to starting the admissions process at Collin College. High schools may have additional steps for you to complete prior to participating in dual credit.

- Account Activation
You should receive an email with your CougarWeb information once admitted. Log into CougarWeb and complete the Campus Safety Training to activate your OneLogin account.

You will need to remove holds from your account prior to registration.
Please note:
- Permission form holds remain until spring of senior year
- Immunization holds only need to be removed if you are coming to a Collin Campus for classes

As a partnering student Collin College Dual Credit staff will complete your registration on your behalf. All registration requests are communicated from your high school to Collin College.
Be sure to review your schedule in CougarWeb, any changes would need to be addressed with your high school counselor.

You will complete any payment due in CougarWeb. Please be aware high schools can set their own payment deadlines that are earlier than the posted Collin College payment deadlines.
