The Art Gallery at Collin College Hosts FORCES 2023 Exhibition

April 5, 2023 The Art Gallery at Collin College will host works from FORCES 2023, Collin Colleges journal of the arts, April 10-21. A reception is planned for 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11 within The Art Gallery. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

FORCES 2023 features poetry, prose, essays, photos, and art from the Collin College community. The exhibition will include photographs and other artistic works created by students, faculty, and staff who contributed to the journal. In addition to the exhibition, visitors may also join faculty, staff, and students for an Art Caf lunch in the gallery from 1-1:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 to hear Collin College Photography Professor Elizabeth Mellott discuss her recent artwork. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lunch to enjoy during the presentation.

The gallery is located on Collin Colleges Plano Campus, Room A175, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Gallery hours are: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Friday.
