ACT

ACT

The ACT is one of the most widely accepted college entrance exams. It assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work. The multiple-choice tests covers four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science. The Writing Test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.

The ACT test can also be used to satisfy Texas TSI requirements with certain scores. Please visit our TSI page for more information on using the ACT test to satisfy TSI requirements.

Collin College serves as a testing site for the ACT (American College Testing Program). Tests are given at the Central Park and Spring Creek campuses during regular ACT exam weekends. ACT tests are NOT given in the Testing Centers.
